Library and Archives Services
The mission of the Georgia Historical Society is to collect, preserve, and share American and Georgia history. Among the most significant ways in which the Georgia Historical Society fulfills its mission is by collecting, receiving, preserving, and providing access to primary and secondary sources; by maintaining an archives building for the preservation of its collection; and by operating a research facility for the use of its members and the general public.
