Georgia Days Kickoff: Johnny Mercer - Scenes and Sounds

GHS's Georgia Days 2009 commemorates the founding of the colony with an exciting range of events, from a parade of schoolchildren through historic downtown to a lavish gala on the banks of the Savannah River.  This year's celebration explores the life and legacy of Savannah songwriter and Honoree Johnny Mercer.  Enjoy Mercer's music and view examples of his illustrations and art as GHS's celebration begins.  Champagne and sweets will be served.
