Eighth-Grade Georgia Milestones Review Web Quest for Social Studies

Get Ready for the Eighth-Grade Georgia Milestones EOG with an updated Web Quest for students. The Georgia Milestones Assessment System (Georgia Milestones) is a comprehensive summative assessment program spanning grades 3 through high school. Georgia Milestones measures how well students have learned the knowledge and skills outlined in the state-adopted content standards in English Language Arts, mathematics, science, and social studies. The social studies assessment for 8th grade focuses on Georgia history, geography, and economics.

Eighth-grade students across the state will be taking the Georgia Milestones Assessment in Social Studies this April, and the Georgia Historical Society has created an updated teacher guide to help get them ready. The teacher guide uses the web quest model to help students review key concepts, people, and events from Georgia Performance Standards SS8H1-SS8H12 using Today in Georgia History episodes, online exhibits, and other GHS online resources.
