J. Randolph Anderson

A prominent lawyer in the Savannah area, Jefferson Randolph Anderson was the president of the Georgia Historical Society from 1938-1941. Anderson served in the Georgia House of Representatives from 1905-1906, 1909-1910, and again from 1910-1912. He worked for the Savannah Electric and Power Company for over 55 years and served as its director. Anderson died in 1950 and is buried in Bonaventure Cemetery in Savannah.
